Healthy Burger Bowls

These healthy burger bowls are the perfect way to get your burger fix with even more fresh veggies and flavor. They are packed with all the classic burger toppings and can easily be customized to add even more veggies and toppings.


Healthy Burger Bowl

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey or grass-fed ground beef

  • 2 tbsp Montreal steak seasoning

  • 1 red onion, diced

  • Avocado, cubed

  • Dill pickles (I use Grillo’s pickles)

  • Cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Romaine lettuce, chopped

  • Honey mustard dressing (I use Primal Kitchen)

  • Roasted potatoes (I use Alexia ready-to-bake potatoes), halved

    Directions:

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground meat and seasoning. Brown the meat, breaking it up as it cooks, until it is fully cooked through. Drain the fat.

  • Assemble your burger bowls. Start with romaine lettuce then add the toppings and cooked ground meat. Drizzle the dressing over and then enjoy.

  • Shredded carrots

  • Fresh or pickled hot peppers like jalapeños or pepperoncini
